It captures short duration pulses, leading or trailing, and provides either an elongated pulse or latched output. If the output is latched then the MA028X can be reset with a short pulse on the remaining input. There is visual indication of both input and output to provide systematic troubleshooting. The output is provided as sink and source simultaneously. These features make this device an excellent choice for interfacing high speed pulses to counter, timer and programmable logic controller inputs.
